Event Recap & Images: Linda Tegg and Rennee Turner at Bush Bay
We’re excited to share a preview of some images from the event Situational Awareness immersion at Bush Bay. The event was hosted by Circular Economies artist Linda Tegg, Rennee Turner, and The Shire of Carnarvon.
Linda led a special edition of the Carnarvon Community Art Hub’s Friday Night Art Club with an immersive group excursion to Bush Bay on 19 September. Participants connected with tidal patterns, satellite trails, and sea grass through a contemplative action, which was documented for inclusion in PICA’s 2026 exhibition.
The evening was enriched by blessings, stories, and stargazing with local Yinggarda woman Rennee Turner of Wooramulla Eco Cultural Journeys, followed by a bush BBQ featuring gourmet sausages and prawns. Circular Economies curator Miranda Johnson and Director and Programs Manager Elizabeth Pedler travelled to Carnarvon, and were honoured to be present to support Linda and witness the work-in-progress.
