ABOUT EVENT
This special addition of the Friday Night Art Club involves stargazing, photography and storytelling with Linda Tegg and Rennee Turner. The work created here leads into an exhibition at PICA in 2026 on Carnarvon’s sky country which has excited Linda Tegg while on residency with Shire of Carnarvon.
Linda Tegg invites the Carnarvon Community on an immersive group excursion to Bush Bay to connect with tidal patterns, satellite trails, and sea grass in creating a shared artwork with a planting element. As the tide reshapes the patterns and the sun sets, we’ll watch the work transform. The evening is marked by a special night sky tour event with Rennee Turner. Enjoy a barbecue dinner, and stargaze into the night.
Rennee Turner is the owner and tour guide of Worramulla Eco Tours with a passion for sharing her ancient culture with people from all over the world and an extensive knowledge of local bush foods.
Lind Tegg is a Melbourne-based artist known for her immersive installations that explore the relationship between spectatorship, nature, and the built environment.
