Dates: 2026-27

Know Thy Neighbour #4: Gestures is a residency program that asks local artists to recontextualise the familiar throughout Perth's metropolitan areas and deepen their engagement with people, places and ecologies to form socially-engaged creative outcomes and temporary public art projects.

Gestures are moments of connection and communication that exist, often unknowingly, between people and places. Know Thy Neighbour #4 projects will consider what gestures bridge connections, and simultaneously, be informed through actions of exchanging, receiving and experiencing.
