Know Thy Neighbour #3: The Subiaco Object Exchange (2023)

The Subiaco Object Exchange is an on-site public program produced by Spaced and artist Jessee Lee Johns, founder of the ephemeral nation, The Commonwealth of New Bayswater.

In 2022, artist Jessee Lee Johns worked with the Subiaco Voice of Youth, in the City of Subiaco, culminating in the Subiaco Object Exchange (2023) as a part of Know Thy Neighbour 3.

In this video, learn more about how art ignited the community, fostering a sense of purpose, togetherness, intrigue and new perspectives through the Subiaco Object Exchange - inviting audiences to ‘swap one thing for another thing’.

The Subiaco Object Exchange is a joint venture between The Commonwealth of New Bayswater Department of Public Works, Subiaco Voice of Youth, the City of Subiaco and Spaced.
