Know Thy Neighbour #3: Amy Perejuan-Capone

Welcome to the wonderfully whacky world of Amy Perejuan-Capone, and her community-informed interpretation of the City of Melville!

Drawing from her own love of dogs and experience as a dog-mum, Amy started her residency acutely aware of the strong bonds between humans and dogs. Her particular fascination was with the ability for dogs to coalesce the social codes which dichotomise private vs. public spaces, and whether these interactions varied (or were mirrored) within a specific locale.

Her project maps out literally, emotionally, and sensorially the ‘more than human’ landscape of the City of Melville as experienced by the dog/human unit.

The Know Thy Neighbour #3 exhibition continues until March 25, with gallery opening hours Mon – Fri 9.30am – 5pm.
