Geraldton is a port in the Mid West region of Western Australia, located 424 kilmoteres north of Perth. Geraldton is perched on a spectacular coastline to the west, rolling hills and breakaway ranges to the east, and is framed by the Chapman and Greenough Rivers at its north and south. Geraldton is the administrative centre of the Mid West’s diverse industry base, which ranges from a world leading rock lobster fishery, farming and agriculture to the production of iron ore.

Lanzinger’s project is supported by the Central Greenough Artist in Residence Program, which is presented by the City of Greater Geraldton and the National Trust, the Western Australian Museum – Geraldton, the Irra Wanga Language Centre and City Hive/ Pollinators.
